But I still talk this CA A ASH

I'll admit it, i'm getting soft...this warm spring weather is pretty sweet. if we could get rid of that god awful muddy-wetness i'd be right cool with this season. And for being a good sport--Spring, Congratulations! Your moving up in the power rankings...your now in the top 4.

I did these three while listening to the track 'American Boy' by Estelle feat. Kanye West...I know i'm a little behind, but needless to say I'm a fan! You could say these were semi-inspired by feel of the song, check it out!

Fire fire rabbit!

So i looked up my chinese zodiac sign, turns out im a "Fire fire rabbit"...it sounds pretty badass, i know...i was just one of those people fortunate enough to have the same Heaven and Earth element. Fire-Fire, i'm not sure what that does for my love life ...but i guess it'll be hot! ....i am SO sorry, sometimes my brain doesn't get a chance to filter the ga'bage.

Here's the line drawing of a piece I've been working on, semi inspired by the preceding info. Now that i look it, this could totally just be 2 pieces about some dude throwing up dominoes and a Noah's arc kind of deal. Thanks for stopping by folks!

Start Drawing, son!!

I was featured on Startdrawing.org on April 9th.

Thanks so much to Tessar for hooking this up!!

Also featured are some homegrown heroes, Yuta and Mr. Harvey Chan. Enjoy!

Share, Share, Bike Share

Well, there's no 'I' in 'team', but there is a 'Go' in 'group'...and 'pour' for that matter....i don't know what that has to do with anything, but i figured i'd share. So as a group, we worked together to produce an ad campaign for the Bikeshare project (RIP bikeshare Toronto).

As a group, Annie, Ashley, Rachelle, and I came up with a campaign comprised of stickers, bus wraps, and posters. We came up with the idea of a tandem bike to represent the basic ideas of sharing and community, but we each took the idea and went off in our own direction with it.

11" x 25", mixed media on paper

I wanted to go with more of a feeling than outright showing what i wanted to say with this...
Marco raised a few valid questions

-is the bear Jewish?
-Will any of the other animals be wearing clothing?

and sort of put it in my head that my mantra should be "like a good documentary, it should raise more questions than answers."

I'm a particularly fond of the koala...i think his goggles are quite sharp.
