Bi Polar

Here's another piece in the Dark Passenger series I've been working on. This piece was pretty fun to work on, I don't know... bears are just a blast to paint and/or draw. Anyways, this piece is titled "Bi-Polar", the concept behind this one deals with the idea of the separation of the conscious and subconscious self, and delving into the shadow-self with both feet... Bless you Mr. Jung! Hope you enjoy it!

Monstrous Reading

Man, do you know whats better than a mountain of snow outside that you have to shovel like every 60 seconds? ...2 mountains! So another reading week has come and gone here in the wintery capital, this one was pretty interesting...mainly because i spent most of it huddled in my basement...doubling up socks, pants and shirts, with a heater by my feet. I was trying to get alot of painting done this break in preparation for stuff...luckily i was distracted every now and then by some haircuts and ice skating! mmmm...delicious! Anywhoo heres a shot of the desk in my purrents basement, and a piece i was working on.

Nostalgia

This is another piece in the Dark Passenger series. This piece in particular was a bit of a struggle to get through, there was an excessive amount of back and forth, but in the end, i was able to get 'er done. The title for this piece is 'Nostalgia', hope you all digg it.

PS. I almost forgot, this piece as well a few others are on display in the Sheridan Student Gallery from now until the 19th. So go check it out! Also on display is the work of devilishly handsome and talented Yuta Onoda and Craig Arndt!

Dance of the Man-atee

not only is philosophy class nurturing my self-conception...but its proving to be fantastic for sketching

I feel like i've been neglecting my sketchbook lately, i'm spending most of my time between personal pieces and assignments... i haven't been able to put in a good amount of face-time with the ol' girl... just some quick jaunts here or there with the ballpoint. But don't you worry, ill make time...just you, me, and a couple of coats of matte medium...*rraaaaawwrr*
